Hot Tub Duck of the Day

Spring is a big time for marathons in Seattle. I’ll bet there’s one every weekend. Many people don’t know that my husband, Blair Osborn, was one of the founders of the Seattle Marathon which is run in the fall. In honor of Brandon Jones, Sales Associate in the Olympic Hot Tub Company, Everett store, here’s a marathon duck!

Brandon ran a marathon this past Sunday and came in 570th out of almost 14,000 combined race runners. His time of 3:37:20 was excellent considering it rained the whole race!

Way to go, Brandon. This duck’s for you!

Hot Tub Duck Goes to Uganda

Here’s another post in our traveling duck series. Olympic Hot Tub Company hot tub owners take their hot tub ducks on trips, take photos and send them to me. It’s such a kick to receive these photos. It many not be National Geographic, but it’s a lot of fun.

Hi Alice:

My family and I have enjoyed our Hot Springs, Grandee Hot Tub for over 10 years.

On a trip my family and I took to Uganda, East Africa, we took the infamous “duck” along with us.  We had the pleasure of touring the country and having the “Olympic Duck” travel with us all the way. The attached picture exhibits the duck at the Equator in Uganda. (Note: The duck is the yellow bump just to the left of the “A” in Equator.  How did he get the duck up on the sign?)

Thank you.

Take your hot tub duck with you on your next trip! Send a photo and brief description of the trip and setting to alice@olympichottub.com. Where will the duck go next?

Thanks to Brandon Jones in our Everett Olympic Hot Tub Company store for this photo from his recent trip to Scotland. That’s his hot tub duck overlooking Stirling Castle near Edinburgh.

Don’t leave your duck at home. You’ll need 2 ducks-one for the tub and one packed in your suitcase so you don’t forget to take it along. Take that duck out for some photos of your travels and send them to us.  We’d love to see where you and your duck have been.

HOT TUB DUCK SEES THE PYRAMINDS AND THE GREAT SPHINX

Our Olympic Hot Tub Company hot tub duck really enjoys traveling and nothing makes him perk up more than a trip down the Nile. Thanks to his owner, Olympic Hot Tub owner Homer Evans, he was able to do just that.  Here he is on board ship taking in the view from the rail.

Homer even gave the his duck a close up of the great pyramid and the sphinx. What a lucky duck!

THE HOT TUB DUCK TRAVELS TO BANFF AND LAKE LOUISE

The hot tub duck escaped from his Hot Spring Spa and stowed away in a big jacket pocket on the trip to Banff & Lake Louise.

It helps to have a professional photographer take the photos. The flowers are always lovely in the summer in Banff.

Kayaking is a great way to enjoy a sunny day in the Canadian Rockies.

Where in the world has your duck traveled? Send us the photos from the trips made by your hot tub duck.
